Upgrading, Downgrading & Cancellation
How to change your BizForms plan, switch between monthly and annual billing, and cancel.
Open in appUpgrading your plan
- Go to Settings → Subscription Plan
- Click Upgrade next to the plan you want
- Enter your payment details (processed securely by Stripe)
- Confirm the upgrade
Upgrades take effect immediately. New features are available as soon as payment is confirmed. If you're on a monthly plan and upgrade mid-cycle, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the month, then the full new price on your next renewal date.
Switching from monthly to annual
Go to Settings → Subscription Plan → Billing frequency and select Annual. You'll be charged the annual price upfront (20% discount vs monthly). Your next renewal date resets to one year from the switch date.
Downgrading your plan
Go to Settings → Subscription Plan and click Change plan → [lower plan]. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your current plan's features until then.
What happens to your data on downgrade
| Scenario | What happens |
|---|---|
| You have more forms than the lower plan allows | Oldest excess forms are archived (not deleted). You can access them but not add new ones until under the limit. |
| You have more team members than the lower plan allows | Existing members retain access until you remove them. You cannot invite new members until under the seat limit. |
| You used Storage Mode (going from Pro to Basic) | Existing encrypted responses are retained. The feature is disabled for new forms. |
| You used AI features | Features become unavailable. Existing form schemas are not affected. |
Cancellation
Go to Settings → Subscription Plan → Cancel subscription. Your subscription is cancelled at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until the period ends.
After cancellation:
- Your account moves to the Free plan
- Your data (forms and responses) is retained
- You can re-subscribe at any time
Cancellation does not delete your account or data.
Refunds
Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact billing@bizforms.io within 14 days.
Updating payment details
Go to Settings → Subscription Plan → Payment method to update your credit card. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Billing receipts
All invoices and receipts are emailed to the workspace owner and are available in Settings → Subscription Plan → Billing history.
