Setting Up Stripe
Connect your Stripe account to BizForms to start collecting payments inside your forms.
Open in appBizForms uses Stripe to process payments. You need a Stripe account to collect payments through your forms.
Available on: Pro and Business plans.
Prerequisites
- A Stripe account (create one free at stripe.com)
- Your Stripe account must be fully activated (identity verification complete) to process live payments
Connecting Stripe
- Go to Settings → Payments
- Click Connect Stripe
- You'll be redirected to Stripe's OAuth flow — log in to your Stripe account and authorise BizForms
- You'll be redirected back to BizForms with your Stripe account connected
BizForms uses Stripe Connect (Express account) — your payment data stays in your Stripe account and BizForms never has direct access to your funds.
Test mode vs Live mode
After connecting, you can toggle between Test mode and Live mode in Settings → Payments:
- Test mode — use Stripe's test card numbers to simulate payments without charging real cards. Use card
4242 4242 4242 4242with any future expiry and any CVV. - Live mode — real charges. Make sure your Stripe account is fully verified before switching to live mode.
Start with Test mode while building and testing your payment forms. Switch to Live mode only when you're ready to accept real payments.
Stripe fees
Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each transaction (typically 1.4% + 20p for EU cards, 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards — check Stripe's current pricing). BizForms does not add additional transaction fees.
Disconnecting Stripe
Go to Settings → Payments → Disconnect Stripe. This removes the connection. Existing payment responses in your response table are not affected, but new payment forms will not be able to process transactions.
Payouts
Stripe handles payouts directly to your connected bank account on your Stripe account's normal payout schedule. Manage payout settings in your Stripe dashboard.
