Workspace Setup

Understand workspaces, configure your workspace settings, and add your first team members.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is your organisation's shared environment in BizForms. It contains all your forms, responses, team members, branding settings, and billing. All team members in a workspace share the same plan and submission limits.

When you sign up, BizForms creates your first workspace automatically using your name. You can rename it at any time.

Workspace settings

Go to Settings → General to configure:

Setting Description
Workspace name Displayed in the dashboard and email notifications
Workspace slug Used in form URLs: bizforms.io/your-slug/form-name
Notification email Default email for new-submission alerts
Timezone Used for date display in the response table

Plan and limits

Your workspace plan determines what features are available and how many forms and submissions you can have. Check Settings → Subscription Plan to see your current usage vs limits.

Inviting team members

Go to Settings → Team and click Invite Member. Enter the team member's email address and select their role:

  • Owner — full access including billing and workspace deletion
  • Admin — full access except billing and workspace deletion
  • Member — can create and manage forms, cannot change workspace settings

The invitee will receive an email with a link to accept. If they don't have a BizForms account, they'll be prompted to create one.

Custom branding (Pro and above)

Go to Settings → Theme to configure your workspace's visual identity:

  • Upload a logo
  • Set primary and secondary colours
  • Choose a button style
  • Configure form page backgrounds

These settings apply to all forms in the workspace. White-label mode (removes "Powered by BizForms") is available on the Business plan.
